As the Head of Sales for vCom, you will drive our Go-To-Market strategy, leading and inspiring teams across Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and Channel to achieve exceptional results. You will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our sales vision, focusing on Lifecycle Management delivered via Software & Managed Services. You are a dynamic leader who thrives on creating and executing sales strategies, fostering a high-performance culture, and expanding customer partnerships. Your ability to lead cross-functional teams with clarity and accountability will be instrumental in scaling our revenue growth.

In your first month, you’ll:
- Become fluent in vCom’s Go-To-Market strategy and product offerings
- Join our executive leadership team and align on strategic goals
- Meet your team members, understand their strengths, and learn about their career aspirations
- Gain a deep understanding of vManager and work toward vManager Certification
- Attend key customer sales meetings to understand the sales cycle and client needs
In your first 3 months, you’ll:
- Become vManager Certified and leverage its capabilities to support sales growth
- Lead and drive the execution of your team’s sales initiatives
- Own responsibility for forecasting, pipeline management, and revenue tracking
- Implement data-driven strategies to optimize customer engagement and retention
- Identify and introduce improvements in sales processes, marketing alignment, and channel strategies
- Leverage your network to drive business growth by:
- Recruiting top outside talent to strengthen the team and expand market reach
- Bringing established relationships to accelerate success and drive immediate impact
- Generating new logo opportunities, identifying and closing high-value prospects to fuel long-term revenue growth
In your first 6 months, you’ll:
- Be fully engaged in the role, driving results and fostering collaboration across teams
- Establish a high-performance culture with a focus on accountability and innovation
- Conduct regular performance and development reviews with team members
- Deliver on revenue and growth objectives while refining strategies for ongoing success
- Strengthen customer relationships, ensuring long-term partnerships and maximizing value delivery
What you’ll do:
- Lead and oversee Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and Channel teams
- Develop and execute strategies to drive revenue growth and customer expansion
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners
- Foster a high-performance, metrics-driven sales culture with clear accountability
- Oversee marketing initiatives that enhance brand visibility and lead generation
- Collaborate with executive leadership to refine and align business strategies
- Establish best-in-class processes and tools to optimize sales operations and performance
- Recruit, mentor, and develop top talent across all functions under your leadership
What you’ll bring:
- Proven track record in Leading Revenue Teams for Spend Management Software, SaaS or Managed Services Organizations.
- 5+ years of experience in technology or SaaS sales leadership, with a strong focus on revenue growth
- Ability to lead and scale high-performing teams across multiple functions
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable strategies
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Experience in driving customer retention and expansion strategies
- A results-driven mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement
- Experience with CRM platforms and sales automation tools
- A strong network for recruiting top sales and marketing talent
- A strategic vision with hands-on execution capability
It’s also helpful if you’ve got:
- BA / BS in a related field
Compensation and Benefits:
- Our estimated comp range for this role is ~$250-350k all in, but we are open to talking with candidates at ALL pay levels.

Travel:
- Approximately 2 trips per month.
- More frequent travel to the San Ramon office in the first 6 months of the role
The Selection Process:
- After submitting a resume, qualified candidates will be invited to complete two assessments.
- Upon assessment completion, candidates will participate in a pre-screening phone interview with Human Resources.
- Select candidates will advance to interview rounds with the sales team, vCom leadership, the EVP of Revenue, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Executive Officer.
