As a Channel Manager for vCom, you will evangelize vCom’s mission to revolutionize how businesses manage their technology spend. You will directly impact the expansion of our market presence through the development and management of successful channel partnerships. You will be responsible for identifying and establishing relationships with key partners, driving sales initiatives, and ensuring the successful execution of joint business plans.

In your first month, you’ll:
- Gain an understanding of our Go-To-Market strategy and Partner Ecosystem
- Shadow with Channel team and develop relationships with existing partners
- Network with key stakeholders within vCom
In your first 3 months, you’ll:
- Understand competitive landscape and articulate the benefits of vCom’s products and solutions
- Be able to competently demo our software platform, vManager
- Have regular cadences with assigned channel partners and internal stakeholders
- Provide and maintain a monthly bookings and margin forecast
- Have built pipeline and engaged in several sales cycles
- Close a minimum of 1 new customer via a channel partner
In your first 6 months, you’ll:
- Have closed multiple new customers via channel partner introductions
- Develop a pipeline of potential new channel partners
- Participate in multiple meetings per week with customer prospects and/or IT advisors
- Achieve monthly bookings and margin goals
What you’ll do:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing channel partners- serving as the main point of contact for all sales-related matters
- Obtain a clear understanding of partners’ business models and requirements, as well as challenges, to better address their needs
- Motivate, train, and support channel partners to enhance their product knowledge and sales capabilities
- Identify, recruit, and onboard new channel partners, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives
- Create and deliver effective sales presentations, proposals, and reports to channel partners and internal stakeholders
- Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product sales, and sales leadership, to drive successful partner engagement
- Track and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular reports and recommendations for improvement
- Achieve quarterly and annual sales goals and objectives
What you’ll bring:
- 5+ years in the telecommunications, network and/or SaaS industries
- A deep understanding of data, mobile and cloud products and services
- A proven track record of success in direct and channel sales- achieving quota while working for a mid-sized business
- Comfortable leading sales cycles or providing sales support to channel partners
- Experience wearing many hats and being resourceful to yield desired results
- Relationships with Technology Solution Distributors (TSDs, TSBs, and MSAs)
- An eagerness to cultivate strategic relationships
- A dynamic and proactive approach to drive successful outcomes and foster client relationships
- Excellent presentation skills - comfortable with training and demos, including clear communication around products and desired outcomes
- A results-oriented focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets
It’s also helpful if you’ve got:
- A large network in the telecommunications and IT Advisory communities
- Marketing and Sales Management experience
- Experience working for a technology reseller
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual salary range: $80,000-$100,000
- Annual commission potential: $80,000-$100,000+
- vCom offers a comprehensive benefits package to full-time employees
Travel:
- Approximately 25-35% Per Month
The Selection Process:
- As part of our application, you will create a 2-minute video telling us about something you are passionate about and can evangelize
- After submitting a resume, qualified candidates will be invited to complete two separate assessments
- Once the assessments are completed, candidates will participate in a pre-screening phone screen with Human Resources
- A select group of candidates will be interviewed (rounds of interviews may include the team, the VP Partner Management, and the EVP of Revenue)
