As a POTS Transformation Sales Specialist at vCom Solutions, you’re passionate about engaging clients to help them manage and transform their Plain Old Telephone Service (POTS) environment. Your expertise in POTS solutions positions you as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert for members of vCom’s Buyer’s Club, QuantumShift. As a tenacious and proactive sales-savvy consultant, you will lead customers through a POTS transformation journey to new technologies, while fostering and ensuring customer success.
In your first month, you’ll:
- Get to know the vCom team, systems, and tools
- Develop a foundational understanding of QuantumShift’s POTS opportunity
- Begin outreach to QuantumShift’s customer base and identify current services
In your first 3 months, you’ll:
- Migrate existing copper technologies under QuantumShift’s management
- Optimize costs for each customer by eliminating unused and unnecessary services
In your first 6 months, you’ll:
- Partner with the Account Team to develop a POTS roadmap for every vCom customer
- Lead each customer through a POTS technology transformation centered on adoption of new products that best fit customer needs
- Continue ongoing cost optimization for customers, while driving revenue growth for vCom
What You’ll Do:
- Engage with existing customers and drive revenue associated with POTS Technologies and POTS Transformation:
- Migrate existing copper technologies under QuantumShift’s management
- Help customers identify what services they have and label the use case for each service
- Optimize costs by eliminating unused or unnecessary services
- Help customers migrate services from legacy technologies to new POTS replacement products that best fit their needs
- Partner with the Account Team and other members of the Technical Solutions Group to develop a POTS roadmap for every vCom customer
- Gain customer trust and become a valued asset to your accounts
- Drive the QuantumShift brand and model awareness with existing customers
- Drive new product concepts to customers with a focus on adoption
- Beat all quarterly and annual sales targets
- Own the related sales cycles from introduction to close
- Review and edit designs and detailed line-item configurations and/or bill of materials (BOMs) from various vendors to ensure proposals are complete and accurate
- Function as a technical liaison and our ambassador between all key solution providers and our clients to ensure successful outcomes
- Maintain account and opportunity forecasting within our internal CRM system
- Conduct knowledge transfers with various parts of the organization
- Conduct subject matter trainings for various teams within vCom as needed
What You’ll Bring:
- A proven track record in meeting or exceeding sales targets with demonstrated proficiency in sales and related technology
- Mastery of the POTS ecosystem
- 2+ years of POTS sales experience
- 3+ years of Enterprise solution sales experience
- Ability to capture and focus customer attention on POTS migration and transformation discussions in a distraction-heavy, ever-changing technology landscape
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team in fast-paced, rapidly changing environments
It’s also helpful if you’ve got:
- BS or BA degree or equivalent work experience
- Experience selling at the “C” level
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual salary range: $65,000-$80,000
- Annual commission potential: $55,000-$65,000

The Selection Process
- After submitting a resume, qualified candidates will be invited to complete two separate assessment
- Once the assessments are completed, candidates will participate in a pre-screening phone screen with Human Resource
- A select group of candidates will be interviewed (rounds of interviews may include the team, the VP of QuantumShift, and the COO)
